Finally Finished

The baby blanket is done!!! This child had the nerve to make an appearance a month early, so I had to hurry. I knit this for a co worker. The pattern has errors in it, so if you decide to knit it, keep that in mind. The stitch count is wrong for the seed stitch to work as written and the directions for the cable pattern are off too. It hasn't been blocked yet.

I restarted the Yarn Love sock too. The yarn is pretty busy, so I am just knitting a simple 3 x 1 rib with a plain foot. I am working on the toe decreases. I will soon be finished with the STR sock too. I have it in the van, so it sees a lot of knitting time as I wait for the kids. Maybe I will get a few finished this week for the 52 Pair Plunge.

And I have a little progress to share on the sweater. A much better picture of the cables. Hmmm... and another cable error, but that one will just stay.

And I am sure all you dish cloth knitters have seen the self striping Lily Sugar'n Cream . I saw it at Hobby Lobby and had to have some. Maybe the DD1 will like this one more than the last one I made for her since the colors are her favorite : ) I will probably get the same enthusiasm as with the last one.

Well, that is all I have for today. The baby blanket consumed all my knitting time this past week. Hope everyone has a great week!!

Boy, I don't have any trouble giving dish clothes to my mom...she loves them. That cabled blanket is gorgeous! Good for you, finishing in a hurry.

All of the knitting is gorgeous! I am a lover of cables, so the blanket and the sweater both got my attention.. they are beautiful! I've picked up the self striping yarn as well, but it's still in my stash. Too many project... too little time!

The baby blanket is so pretty. How dare that child come early. ;)

Very pretty cables on the sweater. I love cables.

Umm I don't think that she is going to be thanking you for the new wash cloth. LOL It is very pretty though.

I'm so happy for you that you got the baby blanket done (now you can knit on other things with no guilt). I love that sock (my foot length is 9" remember). I thought (before I read it completely) that you were knitting a feather and fan scarf. LOL That is too pretty to use for dishes. And I love the sweater, it is so beautiful!

Your blanket is wonderful.
I just finished a pair of the Wollmeise socks you designed. I could not get my hands on any Woolmeise but the trekking xxi I used looks great. Thanks for a great pattern. I truely enjoyed knitting these.

That blanket is beautiful. The sweater is pretty, what yarn is that? The DD will appreciate the dishcloth when she needs it. I have a DD who looks at me dumbfounded when I hand her a handknitted dishcloth but I took notice that she uses it.
