I think it is Lady Bug Season

I have been a lucky blogger here lately. I won 2 contests. And the prizes for both involved lady bugs, which I love. Alisha has been having monthly stitch marker give aways, and I was a lucky winner. And the pretty lady bug markers came in a really neat beaded pouch, I love them !!!! thanks Alisha.
And Kimberly, has been playing BINGO, great fun I might add, and I won some of her beautiful, hand dyed yarn ... in the Lady Bug colorway. How neat is that. Isn't it pretty?!! Thanks Kimberly!
Wed. night was the quarterly 6.5 hour staff meeting at work. We sit and listen to them talk to us for 6 of those 6.5 hours and I get paid to sit, listen and knit. I was able to finish a pair of socks and start another one. Unfortunately, the one I started was one of my own designs ... I am terrible about writing patterns down as I go, and I didn't take the finished sock with me, so the 3+ inches I knit went straight to the frog pond. I shorted each cable repeat by 1 round ARGH!!!
Anyway, I finished the Spanish Moss socks in the CTH, Sockittome in the Spanish Moss colorway. I got this yarn from Sheri at The Loopy Ewe I don't know if this colorway is still in stock, but I think she still has the Sockittome in stock. It is really soft and squishy. The design for this one is also my own.
Well, all the kids are home from school now, and want to talk, all at once too. So I better go listen to what went on in their day.
Happy Knitting All!!

Those are gorgeous! Is that the pattern you wrote down for me when you picked up Kaitlin? I will have to knit that! I hate going to the frog pond and cables would make it harder still.

I always hated meetings when I worked! But if I had knit then - well maybe......

Found your blog from the SAM4 KAL. After looking at the first few entries, I thought "Why am I not subscribed to this blog?". So I subbed. All your socks are great and your new ones are awesome!

Lucky you. The yarn and stitch markers are so cute.

Well at least you didn't sit in the meeting with nothing to do. ;)

The socks are so pretty. You did a great job.

Lucky you! Those stitch markers are seriously cute. 6.5 hr staff meeting? Ugh! and I've been complaining about a 4 hr training I have next Tuesday. Of course the upside of being a telecommuter is I get to knit the whole time and no one knows.

The texture of your new socks in the linked BIG picture is gorgeous. The yarn is beautiful too - I haven't tried the new CTH yarn yet.

The socks are gorgeous! I love the colors. I haven't tried the yarn yet.. will have to give it a go. You're lucky to be able to knit during your meetings... I think I actually listen better when I'm knitting something. Lucky you winning all those prizes!!

You lucky bug you. The stitch markers are adorable, and the yarn....well

I cannot wait to see the socks that fly away home! I would name ladybug colored socks, fly away home.

What lovely yarn and markers!

The Spanish Moss socks are pretty too. Bummer on having to rip the new sock.

I used to love Lady Bugs . . . they are harmless, of course, but when the weather begins to warm in the spring, and in the fall, just as it begins to cool, lady bugs are everywhere INSIDE the house, generally in the kitchen, bath and laundry room. They can be a nuisance.
Love your Spanish Moss socks.

Wow...look at those lovely socks (all of them)! I haven't worked on socks (or anything really) since I came to Korea...gotta get to it soon!
