This weekend my youngest came bursting through the front door, yelling throughout the house....."it followed me home Mom" ...."It" was a pregnant cat. No thank you, all three of my children are allergic to all furried animals. Anyway, if she can use that line so can I . This is what followed me home to today from the yarn shop, some beautiful Alpaca with a Twist Fino. 70% Baby Alpaca and 30% silk...the picture is not very good, but trust me... it is beautiful. It is destined to become a sampler lace scarf.

I also started a pair of socks yesterday. The pattern is in the Fall 2005 Interweave Knits, cables and ribs. I am knitting them in Mountain Colors, Mountain Goat in the Pheasant colorway. It is pooling, but for me Mountain Colors always does. This yarn is so wonderful. I had the heel turn done last night and then decided that I didn't care for the heel flap and heel turn the pattern called for so off to the frog pond I went. I am going to just do my favorite heel flap and heel turn.
Also on the needles are these ribbed socks knit in Cascade Fixation. This is the pattern I am using for a beginning sock class at my LYS. I just may get these

This weekend I finished this felted bag. It is the Lily Bag from BlackSheep Bags. I knit it in Lopi. It still needs a button or a toggle and then it is officially finished

I have a scarf almost done to send off for a scarf exchange I am doing and probably a dozen or more things to finish.... so I better go knit.
